Bitcoin rises to an 11-week high on improved risk appetite after President Trump announced he would extend the cease-fire with Iran until negotiations had progressed. That removes what had been a Wednesday evening deadline, even if Iran is yet to say whether it will abide by the cease-fire extension, Deutsche Bank analysts say in a note. "The impending deadline had weighed on markets yesterday with concern mounting amid news that Iran had refused to take part in a new round of negotiations, leading Vice President JD Vance to postpone his planned trip to Islamabad."
